What Does Hasha Mean?
Hasha means Champion. The name came from Sensei George Best who has won many British, European & World titles. "When you win a major title you become Hasha Champion". So Hasha International Karate was born meaning Champions Karate. With the high calibre instruction, Hasha International Karate has developed and the squad have new champions such as:

Hasha International Karate teaches traditional Shotokan Karate to its members by Chief Instructor Sensei George Best, Senior Instructors Sensei Jason Netherton, Antony Pendlebury, Steven Pendlebury, Dave Ward John Marsh & Joe Prem.
Hasha International Karate's standards are maintained by the Technical Committee whose instructors range from 3rd Dan to 6th Dan with 31 years experience and numerous British, European and World titles. This ensures that standards are kept, maintained and accredited through Hasha International Karate.
Our dedicated and highly trained instructors teach and develop strong foundations in (Kihon) - Basics (Kata) - Forms and (Kumite) - Sparring or Free Fighting.
Our aim is to harmonise mind and body through the diligent study of the art in order to develop oneself, and master the true tradition of Shotokan Karate.
We also have a National squad winning honours ranging from Regional, National, European and World titles. Hasha International Karate have regular squad sessions in order to enhance the squads growing technical ability, with this dedicated training regime in place we aim to train the next champion.
Hasha International Karate has expanded due to its popularity with over 700 hundred members in the organisation. This expansion has shown itself in numerous clubs that have opened in areas such as: Altrincham, Bolton, Chester, Liverpool, Prenton, Walkden, Warrington, Whitefield & Wrexham.
Not only do we teach Shotokan Karate, but our highly trained instructors who compete at National and International Level have developed Hasha Self Defence, a course for individuals and corporate groups wishing to learn the art of Self Defence.
With fitness high on the agenda Hasha International Karate have also developed Hasha Body Active, a fitness programme that many health and fitness chains have taken on board, this incorporates Freestyle Karate with a total body workout as well as Flex & Tone, a session devised to help you with your flexibility and core body strength.
